So…. Just slightly delayed, here’s the follow up from using the Free List Builder Training.

I learned a lot throughout the week that I can use moving forward.
I’ve already come up with a few key changes for a second experiment. This time I wanted to see what following the training exactly would produce. I do think the training is great. It’s easy to follow and quick, and of course free! I can see how it could take someone completely new and give them the knowledge and tools to get started fast. It just needs some optimizing to make it viable.
It could also be that I just had bad luck. Maybe I picked an unpleasant landing page graphic, or the wrong day of the week, or the moon wasn’t aligned with Saturn.
Additional Thoughts (and Lecture)
Something to be aware of with this training. You can absolutely go through this training, set it all up, and do this process for (almost) free. You don’t even need a website and can use social media to advertise. So at the very bare minimum, you need an email autoresponder. The lowest prices I’ve seen on those to get started are currently around $15/mo. BUT…. How long is it going to take you to build up your traffic?
2 Vital Components Of Internet Marketing Are Your Email List And Traffic
The Free List Builder Training will show you how to build your email list for free. That is true. But if you’re just starting out, you won’t have much traffic. You can accelerate gaining traffic and building your list by purchasing traffic. The Free List Builder Training covers exactly how to do this. I decided to purchase solo ads for this experiment because what I really wanted to know is if the system works and I wanted to know sooner rather than later.
I chose to purchase $210 of solo ads (300 clicks) for my first week. I wanted a big enough amount to see results but not so big that I’d risk losing a lot. You could wait for the free 100 clicks that the program offers and use the profits from that to slowly grow your marketing spending by taking the income from that (including profit) and reinvesting it to scale up.
Don’t be like my ex who took my $100 “investment” to buy cheap rings, resold them for $150, then spent that $150 on clothes. There was nothing left to buy new stock to resell and that was the end of that business.
Treat your business like a business.
I know it’s temping to treat yourself after a win, but try hard to resist. If you can increase your adspend, even by just a few dollars, each week then soon enough you’ll have plenty of profit coming in for celebrations. And the best part is that your investment was nothing since you got the initial clicks for free!
I plan to continue using the system from Free List Builder Training. I’ll reinvest the initial $210 plus any profit until I’ve grown my business to at least $400/week profit. Then I’ll definitely treat myself.
